Bio:
As an award-winning watercolor and acrylic artist, Monty Whitfield incorporates his love of ancient culture with elements of nature. The result is an intricate fusion of fine detail and character, striking colors and subject matter, immediately drawing the viewer into Whitfield’s world.

Now a resident of southern New Hampshire, the influence of Whitfield’s childhood in New York City is evident in his work. His creativity and love of art were nurtured throughout his youth by his parents, both of whom were successful artists themselves.

A juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association, Whitfield is affiliated with the Sharon Arts Center in Peterborough, New Hampshire. His painting, “Golden Eagle,” is in the permanent collection of Nashua City Hall in New Hampshire and his award-winning paintings are featured in galleries throughout the Northeast.
